I'm back, and I mean properly back. Mummy and Daddy have finally stopped living in the 'dark ages' and can now communicate using the internet in our home! They keep blaming some tell e com man whoever that is....

I have so much to tell you.Life just keeps getting better for me in my new home. Since we last spoke I've done so much. Here goes.
I LOVE food, and at the moment I think Mummy's home made beef casserole is my favourite. I'm now big enough to be having three 'food' meals a day as well as Mummy's milk. Life really cant get much better in the food arena. Sometimes Daddy tries to feed me something suspicious so I give him the old 'head back, bib up in defense' move, that will teach him. Mummy says I must eat what daddy is trying to give me as it will help me poo more easily, I think they are in this together. I don't like prunes, they are wrinkly and they smell! And I think I'm 'pooing' just nicely thank you, now with solids I keep mummy VERY busy! Anyway the other week we went to see my new doctor who is very nice but a little scary. She told mummy off! She said that I need to be bigger and I must eat more meat. Just between you and I I think mummy has gone a bit over the top and never seems to leave the kitchen, always cooking for me, I think mummy is a bit scared of the doctor too!
I love my new bed now. At first I wasn't so sure and I missed my hammock but now I have much more room to have adventures in. Mummy and Daddy have also taken to leaving me when I don't want to go to sleep. I try to let ALL the neighbours know that I need Mummy and Daddy with me all the time but you have to hand it to the oldies, they appear to be more stubborn than me and for the last three weeks they haven't appeared at all. Don't they want me to be up with them all through the evening???? They think Ive given up, but just when they think they have me sorted Ill show them who's boss....
Ive also had visitors already, Grandfather Nicholas and Granny Moo came to eat chocolate with us over Easter. Mummy definitely ate enough as I got all spotty! ( when will she learn??) It was so nice to have them to stay and we even took them to the beach. Now that we are living so much closer to England I'm sure we are going to have lots more visitors, I cant wait!
I have some new friends also. I go to this lovely play group around the corner from our house, in the local church. We play and eat and do lots of singing, just the way I like it. Mummy also has to make friends as well so she has found some other mummies who have let her into their gang, I like gangs, in my new gang i have my friend Viktor. He is Polish and French all at the same time, fancy that. He has more hair and teeth than me but I AM older by 10 days, I'm the leader of our gang.
Well its time to sleep so I have to go, please check my blog every Monday from now. I will be writing every week again, now the oldies have sorted everything out........ oh nearly forgot hehe he, tonight while I was waiting for my bath I really needed to go to the toilet and while mummy ducked out to get my pjs I 'accidentally on purpose' pooed on my towel. Mummy said she could hear me as she was coming up the corridor and for some reason she found it very funny. She said she was very happy that had happened before our bath, im not sure why??

Uncle Darrin and I

Monday, April 6, 2009

I'm back! Yes I know I have been AWAY for such a LOOONNNG time and I mean really away, Ive been on my first holiday to New Zealand and Ive been travelling through Korea and then Hanoi to visit cousin Oliver. And now finally my mummy and daddy have decided to end all this travelling for a while so we have ended up in Riga, Latvia which is to be my second ever home.
So far so good I say. I can't post any pics up for a while as our camera 'disappeared' from our bag while we were out and about in Hanoi but I will get some soon. Just so you don't forget what I look like I have a smattering of very blonde hair covering my perfectly formed head, i have very blue eyes ( which match the lovely blue skies here in Latvia) and I have a nice tummy and nice legs, there that should keep you in the picture!

I know there are some pics up of our holiday to NZ, but I will scoot through my highlights so that they make sense:
  • Meeting Grandma and Poppa for the first time. We had a lot of fun together and they got to see me eat my first EVER solids, we went to the beach for the very first time together, and they got to share my first ever cold too!
  • Grandma and Poppa got me a pool of my own with its own roof! I didnt really enjoy my first swim in it and decided that I had to let ALL the neighbours know about it! I did enjoy sailing Uncle Darrin's boat in it though.
  • I met so many people in NZ, they all gave me lots of cuddles and far too many smoochy cuddles for my liking, yuuckk. But it seemed to keep them all very happy. I especially enjoyed meeting Alicia, whom I had my first EVER paddling pool swim with and cousin Sophie. They were very pretty.
  • I developed a love of vino while I was in NZ. I enjoyed 'sharing' a bottle with Great Uncle Keith, he has a lovely head like mine so we had lots in common.
  • We flew down to meet Godmummy Anna in Wellington. She was lovely and spoilt me with lots of cuddles and pressies. I want to go back to see her sometime soon.

We decided that we didn't want to say goodbye to Grandma and Poppa so we took them back to Korea on the plane with us! They came to see my home and we had lots of fun showing them all the funny food and the people of Korea. We all had a lovely time though Grandma was a bit naughty sometimes and mummy kept having to tell her off as she kept slipping me different food to try. I liked that a lot and Grandma and I had lots of giggles behind mummy's back. Grandma and Poppa took me off for many walks around Seoul and they were most impressed with just how much attention I get wherever I go, everyone wants to take pictures of me, well I say you must keep the fans happy.

Then came the sad goodbyes and Grandma and Poppa went off to visit cousin Oliver in Hanoi. We had to say goodbye also, to our home and to all our friends so that was very sad and Mummy and Daddy had a little cry each.

Then it was off to Hanoi to visit cousin Oliver and we had a wonderful time. We risked life and limb on the streets and that was just crossing the road! Mummy and Daddy took me on a rickshaw ride, crazy cats, we went on a lovely sailing boat though I didn't really want to sleep much on that trip. We took lots of wonderful photos, of the beautiful buildings, of the busy BUSY roads and mopeds everywhere, and of cousin Oliver and I being cute ( Mummy's and Aunty Lotta's words - not mine!) and then we lost them all!!!!! Mummy and Daddy were very upset at the horrid person who took our camera but hopefully Uncle Darrin will send us some soon so never fear.

And then it was off to our second home in Riga, Latvia. We had to do A LOT of travelling to get here but I was a very good boy and slept most of the way. We have been here one week already and we know that we are going to like it a lot. It is still a bit chilly but its very blue and sunny and mummy and I go walking in the parks to see the ducks every day. I have already been to my first baby groups and we sang lots of songs. I think it is going to be a lot of fun. Please come and visit me soon!
