April 2010, an oldie but a goodie

Football

In the garden, we cant wait all year for the weather to improve so we just have to join it!

my new friend Moa, she is half swedish, half danish and she is very nice.

I love Mummys heels!

Snacking at the park and look closely, you can see sun!

Monday, May 24, 2010

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, this is my favourite word to say at the moment. It must be said with a very kiwi accent though Mummy thinks it sounds more Australian. Anyway everytime I say it people laugh so it is obviously a winner.
The sun has finally arrived in my house. Monday I had my hat and tights on, and the rest of the week I was in my shorts and teeshirt and Mummy was insisting on putting sunblock on me...crazy@! I think my head has got bigger, my sunhat is very snug. We have been to many different parks this week so I can spread my raisins all over Copenhagen but also to play with my friends Ollie and Ben. We also went to the zoo to see the penguins and the elephants. I love the zoo.
I have been poorly this weekend. Something seems to be happening in my mouth and I don't like it at all. Nobody understands but Mummy gives me a special treat and then everything feels much better. I also managed to give myself a little black eye as I slipped off my tooth brushing step. Mummy managed to pull my arm out of its socket in an attempt to stop my head hitting the ground but she didn't manage to stop the corner of the step visiting my eye ball. I think it looks rather impressive and I have got a lot of sympathy from it.

Mummy is off to work this week for the first time in two years. She is only working this week as I'm not letting her do too much otherwise she might be too tired to play with me. I'm not too sure about this though. I'll let you know what I think.
I had my first roast dinner last night. Mummy and Daddy ate with me and we had Sunday roast together. I ate so much that I hardly left anything for the mice on the floor. I hope we do it again soon.

Granny Moo and Grandoof's visit

At my new nannys house

We have just had a very busy weekend because Granny Moo and Grandoof came to visit. Also the rain and grey skies stayed as well so we didn't get outside in the garden very much. Some of the pictures you can see were on the first day when we decided to attack our garden. Actually Granny Moo informed us that the 'ground-elder' has attacked our garden and it is everywhere so I think we have a lot of work to do. I was very helpful. I always managed to find the sharp snippers, the rake, the spiky spade etc. I thought that was very clever. I even managed to fall down the stairs into the bush. I think sometimes my head is heavier than my body! Or maybe that is my hair!

We had to go to a few museums this weekend as it was too wet to be outside, though of course all the crazy danes were outside, I think we havent been here long enough to be as tough as they are!

Mummy and Daddy finally got me some new shoes this weekend. Ive been trying to tell them for a while that my toes dont like being scrunched up at the end but they have seemed too busy to listen. Now I have lots of room to trip over my own feet.

Back to see my new friends today at Majbritts house. I didnt really want Mummy to go today. We all had a cry.

It is very hard to tell you what I am doing in each picture so you will just have to guess in some of them. The one I like a lot is the one of me sitting in my sand/water box while Mummy was cooking inside. I just thought to myself 'why stand when I can be more comfortable inside it?'
Cousin Hal came to visit this weekend. We had lots of fun; I took Hal swimming and we went to the Art museum where we got to decorate the walls with chalk and bounce on a very bouncy mat together while the Mummies had cake and tea! The Daddies never get to relax, I sometimes feel sorry for the Daddies. Unfortunately Hal got sick and the weather wasnt very
happy but we still liked to see Aunty Poppy and Uncle Phil and Hal-i-but.
I started at my nannys house on Monday. You can see a picture with my new friend Noah. My nanny Majbritt is very nice and she has a BIG dog that I love to kiss. Sometimes his tail knocks me over and he does like to lick me a lot! I get to see my nanny everyday and play with Noah and Sarah so I think it is going to be ok.
I also played with my friend Olly and our new friend Madeleine at her house. Olly and I went to our music class where we got to make lots of noise.
My favourite things at the moment are:
*riding my bike with my helmet on. I can put it on all by myself. You must never ride without your helmet.
*drawing on the wall and eating purple crayons
*ripping some of my books ( this does not seem to go down very well with Mummy and Daddy!)
* repeating lots of new words every day. At my first day with my nanny yesterday I said 'tak' which is thank you in Danish. Mummy doesnt think it will be long until I can speak Danish at all.

I can't write today. I am very very sad, far too sad to do much at all. Mia has left. Mummy says it is because she has moved to Sweden but I am wondering whether it is because I took her pink bucket at the park? I didn't mean to...... we always play that game but maybe this time she was upset at me? Anyway I keep asking for Mia but Mummy just looks sad and says that we won't see her today. To cheer me up Mummy took me to the zoo today to see the 'piggys' and the 'mamels' but I still feel sad. So if anyone sees Mia please tell her I miss her. I hope I will be happier to write next week but I can't promise....

Oh I just had a thought that you might not know what I'm doing in some of my pictures. So just quickly I had my very first Korean meal the other night with my friend Daniel. Daniel is big and so much fun. I didn't want to go to bed when there was so much to do with Daniel. Anyway now I really have to go..... I think I might just have my first broken heart and I don't like it!
