My first day of holiday in France

Im back! I know....I really have taken 'being on holiday' to a new level but I wasn't allowed to access a computer.....Mummy says I needed to give my eyes a holiday as well so I had to make up games and play constructively elsewhere. Though just between you and I, I really missed tap tap tapping away on the computer.

A quick run down on what I have 'constructively' been doing over the last three weeks.

First of all Mummy, Felix and I flew to London without Daddy where we didnt do much except for pick up our luggage again, and meet lots of nice people who helped us get on another plane on the same day to France. I really wasnt sure about why we did this and why Daddy wasnt allowed to join us however before I knew it I was off to France. I really really enjoyed flying this time especially take off and landing. Mummy said it was just as well. When we got to FrancGranny Moo met us and took us to her house amongst the wines. Mummy was so excited she nearly cried. I cant never work Mummys tears out, sometimes they are supposedly happy tears and sometimes sad so I just give her smooches anyway just in case she really does need cheering up.

Daddy arrived the next day as he had driven down from Denmark. I think Daddy is amazing and I hope one day he will take me on this road trip of his. Daddy didnt look too enthusiastic about this idea, im not sure why. We had a great time at Granny Moo's house in Provence, with Aunty ' giver of great cuddles and maker up of lots of fun games to entertain Hal and I' Poppy, Uncle ' hunting for lizards, watching surfing and snowboarding clips' Phil and my fun cousin Hal. We had a blast, though the highlight probably wasnt being thrust into the arctic pool, screaming and kicking to give our mummies and daddies the idea that we REALLY were not up for this 'learn to swim' session. We did enjoy the river walk though once again the sun was hiding. The ice cream was probably the highlight for me personably. Mummy and Daddy have finally realised that this is what holidays are all about!

Then I went off to England with Mummy and Felix and would you believe what happened at the airport. Some lovely man gave us a ride from the airplane to the baggage which was a very long way Mummy tells me and we didnt even have to get out at passport control. Mummy says this is what it is like when you are famous. Maybe they know Felix and I are very famous? We got to drive over a big sky bridge high in the sky and we could see all the planes in the world. It was amazing. We went on another drive to a place called Guildford where we stayed with my friends Theo and Poppy oh and their Mummy and Daddy, Emily and Phil in their house for the week. THis was INCREDIBLY exciting for me as they are big and know how to have lots of fun. I also went to a farm park with Mummy and Felix where I did lots of 'big boy' things, sliding down scary slides and going on rides. At one point I even got naked all by myself to do a spot of swimming! We went up to London to visit my cousins Otto and newly born Coco which was very exciting. Aunty Kylie and Mummy were very mushy all day and kept making 'oowww' sounds every time we were all together especially when we cuddled! Mummy's friend Haylee came to visit and I was very spoilt as she gave me a fun dinosaur box, with my own dinosaurs in it! Granny Moo came to visit us as well so it was the most exciting week for me. Then Daddy arrived and we went in the car for a long drive to stay with one of my first friends from Korea....Lila and her parents. Lila was getting christened so it was another party to eat cake at! We did lots of farming things and we played pooh sticks together.

So now we are back home and we are waiting for summer to come to Europe as it seems to be hiding. Hopefully after mid summer party this week the sun will come out for good!

Im sure you can work out what Ive been up to by these pics!

Need I say anything more?

Putting my big boy pants on and shorts all by myself

Enjoying my sand pit

My next favourite thing...squashing Felix

I just want to tell you of my monkey antics this week. Mummy was busy inside the house feeding Felix (which she seems to do a lot of!) when I spied the scaffolders ladder conveniently positioned against the house. It was practically begging to be climbed so I did. Once I had nearly reached the roof I decided that I had better tell myself out loud that I was too high, which I did. Mummy heard me and her eyes went as big as saucers as she ran very quickly outside and clambered up the ladder to have a conversation with me about waiting for her or Daddy before I went on the roof. I dont really know what the fuss was about. I'm a very good climber and its not as though I actually got on the roof???

Im going through a bit of a snail phase at the moment, made even more exciting by the giant snails in our garden. They freak me out a little, especially when they are moving so I make Mummy pick them up. She is awfully brave my mummy is. She doesnt like me hitting them on their shells...it does make a loud noise.

At the moment Im quite enjoying doing the VERY opposite of what Mummy and Daddy want me to. It seems to make their faces go very red, like they are doing to pop. Its awfully good fun.

Tomorrow morning, very early, Mummy Felix and I are flying to France. WE are flying to England first and then onto France... we like to do simple things in a very complicated way. I am very excited about going on a plane again. I will have to show Felix how to do it. He doesnt know how to fly and he doesnt seem that excited. I say wait until you see the plane and the pretty air hostesses Felix!

Cleaning up

Well Mummy wanted my footprint!

Walking home with Moa and Mummy. I was a bit concerned it would rain hence why Im wearing Moa's sun hat!

I hope you enjoy my piccies..... I have had a lot of fun walking home with Moa and Mummy. We are 'little monkeys' as Mummy says but secretly I think she enjoys us.....

Mummy asked me to paint my foot... no seriously she did..... she may deny this but she did..... so I did..... and you can see the results.... and I cleaned myself up without being asked to.... well Mummy didnt specifically ask me to sit in the bucket and get all wet and green... but the bucket was there and was very inviting so why not?

We had fun in the park with our new friends on Sunday. We ate a lot and played football and did a lot of tree walking and jumping. It was great. We also saw lots of horses as there was a hunt in the park which I liked a lot.

I have discovered that I don't really like snails. I like to look at them and Im pretty brave when it comes to the empty shells but I really really dont like the ones which move!! Mummy has tried to convince me that they are harmless but Im not convinced.

Showing Granny Moo the sights

With Farfar

My favourite pastime at present

We had visitors this week..yay!! Granny Moo and Farfar came to see me, in my house, in Copenhagen and for the first time ever the sun stayed out so we could play! I showed Granny Moo and Farfar just how much I love playing football, all day and all night and they also came to see my nursery where I showed them my favourite parts... the football pitch and the sandpit! They took me to the zoo where we had lots of fun looking at the baboons and I made them both very tired!I miss them though and wish they could come back and play with me in my new sandpit.

Not sure Felix is into this as much as I am!

Happy brothers

Constructing with Moa

My first attempt at taking a photo of Daddy

'It's Ok baby' ( My favourite thing to say to Felix)

Boys together.

Its been a fun weekend and week with Granny Moo and Farfar visiting from London. They have been enjoying ( finally!) the sun in Denmark as everytime they visit the weather is horrible. On Friday though all the big people were a little boring as they watched some wedding on TV ALL DAY.Mummy did at least remember to feed me throughout this 'important' event but nonethe less I didn't get as much attention as I have been used to!

We have been playing in the garden and in the weekend Farfar and Daddy built Felix and I a new sandpit. It is very exciting and when I get back from nursery in the weekend I will take a photo of it. They are very clever. We also went to a little market in the weekend where I played with my friends Finn and Freda and Mummy found a little tool bench to go in my outside house. I love playing with my tools like Daddy and I was very helpful with shovelling the dirt from the garden into my wheelbarrow! I got, just a little bit, dirty!

It is Daddy's birthday on Friday so today Mummy and I are going off to buy him a present. I wonder what I will find. We also have to make a cake which I am very good at doing.... I hope he likes it!I wonder if we will have ice cream as well!
