Climbing

A little hard to watch but this is Jasper climbing up a reasonably step incline with no real

help from me, just a hand to stop him leaping off the side.

Eating leaves in Vilnius

First wearing of the shoes, Im not sure yet

Constructing things

First shoes

Love to swing

On the move again
Another week, another new country to explore. This time it was to Lithuania that we went for a few days. Daddy had to work so Mummy and I went as well so we could investigate Vilnius. I was a very good boy because it was a very long journey. Mummy and I had a lovely time 'hanging' out and I even showed Mummy how well I could go up steep slopes all by myself. I even went down the slide all by myself three times. It made my eyes go inside my head, a little strange really.
Mummy also finally decided to let me wear my new shoes. So far I've had to do all my climbing and playing in bare feet so I'm not sure why she has changed her mind. I'm not so sure on these new shoes but I am having fun trying to get them off.
Mummy and I went swimming again this week. I'm getting much braver and I enjoy falling off the side of the pool into Mummy. We do get funny looks from some of the Latvians.
The funny part of the week was when Mummy realised that we had all left our passports in the hotel room, just as we were approaching the border to get back into Latvia. Lucky for us we
were'nt stopped! Mummy and Daddy are very forgetful sometimes.
I've had a lot of fun this week standing and falling on my bottom. I like to hang onto the furniture to move around and when I was in Vilnius I even toppled out of the sandpit because I was so busy leaning out to pick up the leaves.
Guess what?.... have you guessed? That's right, its my birthday this week and I'm having TWO parties. I'm so lucky. Tomorrow is my playgroup party and then in the weekend we are going to London to see Hal and Otto. I'm very excited about going to the farm. I also can't wait for my cake though Mummy seems a little worried about it. Just between you and I I'm not sure Mummy is an expert at cake making. Let's just see what she comes up with. Until next week ...

A busy week!

I apologise that you have to cran your neck to look at some of these pictures and the video. My computer wasn't letting me rotate them today.

Look who is pushing me to the Teddy Bears picnic. Where is Mummy? I mean she shouldn't just let anyone take me to picnics even if they are soft and cuddly!

With Daddy at Rundale Palace

With my neighbours, Sophie and Mia

I have just discovered a love of vacuum cleaning

Love to swing

Off to the Teddy Bears picnic

Going up the stairs by myself

With Eva. Eva is my neighbour and she is 8 months. we have a lot of fun. I poke her in the eyes, she pushes me over. Best friends. Here I am singing to Eva, she really appreciates it when I do.

I just love drawers. Mummy and Daddy NEED to tidy up!

Climbing the stairs at the palace

Mummy has told me many times this week that I'm just a 'cheeky monkey.' I'm not sure what she means. She always seems to say it after I have just started my exploring. Like looking in lots of drawers, and then today after I managed to catapult my lunch onto the wall. I was only practising eating by myself but mummy seemed to find it very funny.

I am getting very fast at crawling now and really like it when Mummy and Daddy chase me. It makes me laugh a lot and sometimes I have to stop to catch my breath. We went to a palace yesterday. It was really pretty and we had to wear these funny shoes over our normal shoes. I spent most of the day trying to get them off!

Mummy and I finally passed one of our doctors visits with Doctor 'scary.' She was very happy with me as I'm now up to 8.4kg and 74cm. And I only weeeeed on her once! She should thank her lucky stars I say....

Watching rugby with Mummy and Daddy
All Blacks vs Australia - we won!

Try time!

This was funny, Mummy and Daddy didn't realise that I had poked my head out of the back of the stroller when I as supposed to be sleeping!
Busted!

Im not sure about this, will I learn from this one?

Playing with Harry at playgroup

Racing Victor!

Mummy is very happy this Monday. You see our team won in the weekend. Mummy sure does get excited as you can see by the pictures. I was a perfect angel though, I could tell that Mummy needed me to sit just as intensly as her and watch the All Blacks. Funny game though, Im not sure what I think of it all really.
Lots of playing this week, lots of crawling with my friends, lots of standing up in my cot and my favourite.... attempting to eat raw potatoes STILL!
I have to go now, Im off to a Teddy Bears picnic in half an hour so I must find Marco, my teddy, I wonder where I put him last?......

I love taking all the books off the bottom shelf every day, its like my own little routine

Any similarities?

Loving the trampolines with Mummy

Trying to escape my playpen

On the move at the park

Back where I belong
The highlights of my week have been:
  • Finding the potatoes and taking a big bite out of a very dirty one. I don't know why mummy laughed so much, I found it quite tasty.
  • Eating my bubble bath, I don't know where it does when I put it to my mouth but it tickles a lot.
  • Jumping on the trampolines with Mummy, I was laughing so much I nearly forgot to take a breath.
  • Being back in the sand where I belong.
  • Being back with my Riga friends though some of them are leaving so today I have to play extra hard with Charlotta and Lucas because I will miss them a lot.
  • Discovering my love of pots and spatulas to make a lot of music.
  • Pulling the books off the bookshelf at least three times daily. I just love to read!
We have a very busy weekend so tune in next week to see what we have been up to.....
