I can still fit in the handbasin!

Mummy forgot to tell you last week that I have already started speaking a little Danish. When Mummy came to pick me up the other Friday I asked for 'more apple please', all by myself. Mummy was VERY surprised because when I ask in English I sometimes need reminding with some of the words.

I have also had my FIRST haircut!!!! Mummy finally plucked up enough courage and I talked her through it all. The man was very nice and I even got to sit on a special cushion. I sat very still and I very much enjoyed looking at myself. I look very swish if I don't say so myself but Mummy is missing my long curls. I keep telling her that they will grow back. Sometimes Mummy can be such a baby.

Today I said my very first 'mini' sentence all by myself. We were at the park and we were going through a little tunnel and I said to Mummy 'tunnel is dark'. Mummy nearly fell over with surprise.

It is very hot here at the moment so we have been enjoying the sun. Sometimes the sun gives me a little rash to remind me that it is here.
I am getting very excited as Grandma and Poppa are coming to see me this weekend. Im a little confused as they live very very far away but Mummy and Daddy keep telling me that they will meet me in England. We will have all our family together this weekend for me to visit the big church ( except for Uncle Darrin, Aunty Lotta and Oliver who we will miss very much) so it is a very exciting time. I hope we get to eat cake!

Oh and Happy 1st Birthday for today Otto, you are getting big like me now! I am looking forward to eating some of your birthday cake on Sunday.

Playing with Otto

Im back and much much better than I have been over the last few weeks.

To sum up two weeks ago I had such a sore mouth that I really didnt want to open it and when I did I flooded Mummy and Daddy with all my saliva that I had been collecting. We even got to go to the doctors twice and the after hours department in the evening because I came out with a funny rash. To be honest I think Mummy was just overreacting. Well because I wouldn't eat and along with everything else we nearly didnt make it to London. Thankfully we did as we had lots of fun.

Here's what I did:

  • Had dinner with Goddaddy Will and we also played in the garden. I taught him a lot of things and I have decided that he is a very good listener.
  • Stayed with Otto in his house. He took me to a very cool park and I went on the swing all by myself!
  • Had a sleepover at Granny Moo's and Grandoofs. It was so much fun that I didnt want to go to sleep..... so I didn't..... for ages.....

  • Stayed with my friends Theo and Poppy, in the big countryside. They are so much fun. Their daddy even let me ride a bike.... well with a little bit of help.

When we got back from London Mummy had another surprise.... William and Jess had come to visit from England with their mummy. I tell you.... sometimes I dont know whether I am coming or going. But it was the best sort of surprise because William is a very big boy and he is very good at playing. Jess is very pretty but Mummy kept hugging her and I really didn't like that very much. Why do Mummies have to hug so many other children and babies? She has to save it all for me.... that is what I think!

Here is what we did in Copenhagen while William was here:

I got the throwing up bug that Daddy got so that wasnt nice especially as we had visitors. It got passed to Mummy, then to William when he got into the arrivals hall in ENgland, onto his mummy and then onto his grandmummy. What a horrible bug it was!

Anyway we did some nice things too. We visited the zoo,we went on a very big boat to see some buildings and such like ( I personally liked the waves, the ducks and the tunnels we kept going under oh and I even got to steer the boat with the boat driver man!) and played in lots of parks. I miss William a lot so I hope we get to see him soon.

This weekend Mummy's football team scored a big goal and Mummy got so excited that she screamed the house down. She even took me for a run down the street with our flag. I am still not certain why she was so excited but I joined in with the 'whohoos' and today I waved the flag all the way to daycare for my nanny to see. She loves football too.

Stair climbing

Its summer and time for an iceblock!

Korean food, yum yum

At our lake, Mummy showed me these bubble flowers

Music class

Drawing on the wall with chalk and climbing, a very exciting corner to be in!

And the sun has got its hat on hip hip hooray. We have had a lovely week enjoying the sun:; at the zoo, at the little lake up the hill, in friend's gardens and in our garden. I hope it stays.
I ate yummy Korean this weekend with Mummy and Daddy. I even tried to show them how to use chopsticks properly. I also ate 10 green olives, i think there is a song about that... ' There were ten green olives hanging on the wall.....'

I have been a little poorly with my new teeth coming through, they really really hurt so I have to keep putting my hands inside my mouth to make them feel better. It is even keeping me up at night so now I have more time to practise everything I have to say that I normally only get to fit into the daytime. Mummy and Daddy get to lie awake listening so they are very lucky.
