What have I been up to this week?

I went with Mummy to a sort of job interview. I was so excited that Mummy was letting me come that I did two poos in quick succession so that we missed the bus. That was fun and then I woke up so that I could join in the important chat with 'maybe Mummys new boss!' Mummy was very happy I didn't miss this important day though she is not sure she got the job after all my help!

Mummy and Daddy have found me the nicest place to go and play. There is a lovely lady called Majbritt and she will look after me with two others, Noah and Sarah. I met Noah and he seemed nice enough, I even shared my strawberries with him. She has two dogs so I am very happy about that. Mummy seemed very happy though she cried a little. I told her that it was ok, maybe they could find someone just as nice as Majbritt to look after her!

We went back to my least favourite place in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD..... IKEA! Why do Mummy and Daddy insist on taking me there, I definitely made sure that they and everyone in the shop knew that that is not where I wanted to spend my Saturday mornings though playing 'peek a boo' in the carpet section was quite fun. I even managed to lose M and D for a few minutes!

I went to my first ANZAC day service yesterday. I didn't quite understand all that was going on, something about remembering some people. Mummy ate lots of biscuits and wouldn't share them, apparently you are supposed to eat these on ANZAC day but I think I'll have to wait until next year.

Mia finally came back this week and she gave me a very nice boy doll. I have named him Louis. Daddy is not so sure about Louis but I like him a lot , we kind of look the same though he has more hair than me. I'll be sure to take some pics of him this week when we go out. We have been playing a lot especially in my garden. I have a new sand and water box so yesterday we got really really muddy and dirty. Lots of fun.

I'm off for a sleep, its been a very busy morning....

Highlights of my week

  • Playing properly outside in the spring sun with my bikes and balls.

  • Having daddy home to enjoy Mummys birthday with us. We went to the zoo and saw Lions eating a lot of something which I wasnt sure about.
  • Having a tea party with Mummy for her birthday. I even had my own little glass!
  • Going to see the Danish queen on her birthday. There were lots of people and lots of flags and lots of horses and lots of music.
  • Going on a biking holiday with my friend Ollie. The Mummys' and Daddys' biked a long way but Ollie and I got to relax a lot. They seemed to complain a lot about the wind but we didnt really think it was that bad. Camping was fun and we got to meet a friendly peacock. I learnt this weekend to say 'peacock' and I learnt my first colour which is 'purple.' I am speaking a lot now and Mummy says I know more than 40 words all by myself. I think I know more, its just that silly mummy and daddy dont get all my words, I think they need to listen better.
  • Going to a nature park this morning where I climbed a little hill all by myself for the very first time. Mummy was very proud. I got very dirty all over my body. A successful day I think!

I'm a bit sick. I have a snotty nose and a loud cough and to top it all off Mummy dragged me to see my doctor to 'check' me out this morning. I mean I didn't have to go to the doctor to tell you that Im just under the weather. Mummy is a fuss pot!

I also had a very busy weekend because Aunty Bex came to visit. She is lovely and she bought me a 'grown up doo doo' and a lovely little whistle which I like to play a lot. We had lots of fun which included getting chased by the geese and swans at our favourite lake ( Mummy was VERY scared and Aunty Bex had to use MY stroller to defend ourselves@!) hanging with the cool dudes in Christiania, going to a museum of funny and strange things and painting at the museum when we werent supposed to! Mummy and Aunty Bex were a little naughty at the museum as we made ourselves at home and painted for ages until the painting lady came in and told us that it was only on the weekends for little ones like me. We had fun though!

This morning, even though I'm a little under the weather, Mia and Alexander came over and we played in the garden, drawing with chalk, playing with my ride on toys and chasing bubbles that Breigh made, she is very clever. Alexander and I liked to eat the chalk but Mia wasnt so keen. She says she is a real princess so I guess real princesses dont eat chalk.

What an exciting weekend I just had. Do you know who I found.............. Daddy!!!!

Mummy drove us to the airport on Saturday morning and she kept telling me that we were going to see Daddy but I didn't really believe her until I saw Daddy coming through the big doors. I ran at him with my Danish flag and hugged him till he went red. Mummy was crying but Im not sure why. Surely we were happy? Mummy cries a lot Ive decided. Anyway it was so nice to see Daddy and I tried not to let him out of my sight this whole weekend. We went out on our bikes and I got to chat to Daddy while he biked along side us, that was a lot of fun. Daddy also bought us a new camera so now we can take more pictures again, yay!

It wasn't very nice weather this weekend so I had lots of fun playing with a big box as you can see from Mummy's pictures.

Yesterday Mummy and Daddy took me to the circus. I couldnt' believe my luck. There were even 'mamals'( camels), little black striped horseys ( zebras), horses and elephants! There were dogs and people flying through the air and motorbikes going round and round a cage. Mummy was a bit frightened that there might be a crash as there were six motormen with their bikes in one little cage but I told her that 'it would be ok as they knew what they were doing.' I even got to ride an elephant with Daddy! It was very high up but I was very brave. I really want to go back!
